Bill Ferguson entered the real estate field in 1973 and has enjoyed a very lucrative career, even managing his own firm for ten years during the 1980s. In 1991 Bill joined the prestigious ranks of Joyner & Company, Realtors (now Joyner Fine Properties), where he continues to make a positive contribution as a Vice President and Director of the firm. Bill was the recipient of the Adrian L. Bendheim Award for Salesman of the Year in 1977 and has consistently received the Distinguished Achiever Award ($1,500,000 and up in net sales volume) throughout his career.
Bill knows the importance of working hand in hand with his Realtor associations. Through the years he has served and chaired numerous committees including Multiple Listing, and Education. Keeping membership informed on all the current educational and MLS issues through his many talks was his goal. He served on the Board of Directors from 1980-1985 for the Richmond Association, being named President in 1984.
While constantly involved with his busy day to day schedule, Bill also finds time to volunteer his services to his community, having served on the board of Directors of the National Kidney Foundation, the Board of Directors of the West Richmond Businessmen's Association and most recently as its President.
Bill's main area of Real Estate is Homes, Land and upscale Residential Properties. Throughout his career he has been involved with such major sales as "South Ceres" in Goochland County, a 350 acre estate for $1,250,000, and "South View Farm" in Goochland County for $643,000, "Ashley" a 70 acre estate and 6300 Woolridge Road, a 13.6 acre estate both in Chesterfield County.
